Long Term Parking at JFK has never been better. Actually make that off site JFK airport parking.
If you are tired of paying the highest fee’s on site of JFK airport. There is an alternative. Off site parking. There are currently 3 offsite facilities. Well four, if you count the Hilton Garden Inn. Yes, they have gotten involved in the airport parking business.
Of the aforementioned 3 airport parking facilities. I have tried them all. Avistar looks like a garage. No, not a parking garage, I mean a real mechanics garage. I actually got dirty trying to check in and out. Anyways. So that was that.
I have also tried Airpark Parking. They are not bad, but the facility does leave something to be desired. Most of all, for me, it comes down to prices. They are not the cheapest.
The 3rd facility that I tried was a new one. It’s call SmartPark JFK. A new facility. No hidden charges or service fees. The service is pretty good. The bottom line, again, is they are the cheapest. I parked there when they first opened and paid $14 dollars. Then they did a summer special for $12. I believe it is going back to $14 after Labor Day 2009.
At the end of the day you need to choose who YOU like best. For me, its price, for some its loyalty. I am loyal only to Benjamin and his twins.
